Clifford Ward Artist

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Clifford Ward.  This hidden artist is located on the "Grounds For Sculpture" www.groundsforsculpture.org in Hamilton NJ.  Those who have visited this hidden gem location, know about the year round pleasure art can bring both indoors and outside.

"Cliff" a graduate from Rider University who recently had a successful showing at The Trenton City Museum, "Ellarslie" http://www.ellarslie.org/ works in a multitude of mediums.  The attached pictures are pieces he created using bandages.

As with most art, the beauty is in eye of the beholder.  However if his style meets your taste, you have to make a point to meet this man in person.  His story is wonderful, his passion for art and how it can transform lives is heart warming, and to top it off he has a desire to share his gifts with children who have never experienced art's ability.

Review Trenton Budget Meeting from 3/7/11

The meeting took place at AME Zion church on Pennington Rd.  http://mtziontrenton.com/index.html

Kudos to Rev. Dr. Justice for the level of  committment to the community and opening prayer.  Light food was served by very delightful women.

The attendence was lacking, I counted 20-25 people.  I would say 10-15 of those folk are affiliated with Fix Trenton's Budget.  http://fixtrentonsbudget.com/

The meeting consisted of two exercises which are very informative, humbling and give you a detailed idea of what we are paying for.

The pages were collected and once complied after all of the meetings, a presentation will be made to the Mack administration team.

So once again this is your chance to have your voice heard, not just at the water cooler or with your circle of friends, but with a organized grass roots organization of Trentonians.

Another meeting is scheduled for tonight 3/9/2011, I know it is Ash Wednesday for those of us who observe, however attendence will display the level of your concern to the civic associations and our current administration.

The meeting begins at 6:30pm at;
The Millhouse
325 Jersey St.
